This choice is fine ground and cut into 1" and 1/2” cubes, with a splash of charcoal. The 1" cube is perfect for small-medium breeds. Each cube weighs approximately .05 ounces. The 1/2” cubes weigh approximately .01 ounce. If your pet is 10 months old, and an athlete, lets say a Jack Russell, weighing in at 20 pounds of energy and all muscle, then you would feed 6 ounces a day(12-1" cubes @ day), around 15 pounds a month. Now on the other hand if your Jack Russell is 12 years old, holding down the sofa, sporting some fine love handles; then less is best. For grandpa I would suggest 8 a day for a 23 pound elder pet. Each baby is unique and the number of cubes may need adjusting whether the pet is young or old. The above suggestions are good starting points. I suggest a 15 pound order for the young'n and the old man. Remember to always order extra, if you are not on a subscription plan, that way you want run out of food.
